The Xiaomi Mi Note sold out in three minutes

Xiaomi is a rising star in the world of smartphones, and despite the fact that it has yet to launch in the likes of the UK it is doing remarkably well for itself. The company is also known for its devices selling out obscenely quickly, and the newly announced Mi Note is no exception — having sold out in three minutes.

The smartphone manufacturer took to Chinese social network Weibo to announce the news and promised that the Mi Note would be back in stock on February 3rd.

From a business perspective, it sounds like the phone selling out is good news. But Xiaomi has not revealed exactly how many Mi Note devices were available, so it’s possible that supply was deliberately limited.

Regardless of whether that is true or not, it is just another example of how sought after Xiaomi products are. I can’t be the only one who would like the company to get a move on and expand its business into the UK. I’m sure plenty of people will want to get their hands on a Xiaomi phone without having to resort to buying one from an import dealer.
