Motorola announces the stainless steel Moto 360

If you fancy yourself a smartwatch enthusiast then chances are to get hold of the latest models is to sacrifice a bit of the look and accepting that they’ll come out with a rubber strap at first. Rubber is practical, of course, but it’s not quite got the same look as a metal strap does it? Those of you with your eyes on the Moto 360 don’t have to worry that much, because Motorola has announced that a stainless steel Moto 360 will be available in the US on the 11th November.

Ok, so you won’t be able to get one at launch, but an extra month of waiting isn’t much if you have your heart set on getting a smartwatch with a little bit of style and elegance to it. We don’t have a UK release date or pricing just yet, but according to Motorola the metal strap will cost an extra $50 (£31). Since it costs £199 here it’s safe to assume that the metal version won’t be more than £250. [Mobile Burn]
