Is this how much the LG G Flex 2 costs?

LG’s G Flex 2 curved smartphone was announced at CES last week, and a lot of people have been getting fairly excited about it. Now you have another reason to be excited, because the price has been revealed and it’s less than you might think.

A listing on the German Amazon website (now taken down) listed the phone at a pre-order price of €599, which is around £469. That does seem rather cheap for a flagship device, especially when you consider that it has a curved display or compare it to the offerings from Samsung and Apple.

As TechRadar points out, considering the phone was available to pre-order it’s likely that this is not a provisional price. Plus it’s coming from a reputable major retailer, not a random website the majority of people have never heard of.

Of course pricing isn’t always directly converted, and it could well change when the G Flex 2 hits the UK. If you are looking to get your hands on one as soon as possible, Vodafone will have exclusive rights to the handset for the first six weeks of sale. Sadly the network has yet to reveal any pricing or contract details.
