Kindle First is giving UK customers early access to e-books

It’s not often that Britain gets technology and the latest services before they launch elsewhere. Yet when Amazon announced Kindle Unlimited it was revealed that it would be available in the UK before anywhere else. Now we’re getting a little bonus with Kindle First.

Kindle First is a service that will gives users early access to e-books that have come from one of Amazon’s publishing houses. Each month, editors will select four upcoming releases and users can choose one book (in e-book form) that they can buy for 99p. If you’re a Prime member you don’t have to pay a thing.

You’re only allowed one, though, so you need to choose wisely. You can’t change your mind after making the decision, so if you do pick the wrong one then you’ll have to wait until the release date and then pay full price.

All you need to do is register and you’re sorted. Once you’ve done that you can opt to receive a monthly newsletter that will let you know exactly what’s going to be available each month. This is perfect if you’re a big reader and looking to expand your library.
