Google has made driverless cars – we're officially in the future

Google has unveiled its new driverless car, and it looks like a 1960s bubble car.

The car has two seats, no steering wheel and no pedals. 100 of these test vehicles are to be made, and this scares us.

The car, which has been developed in secret, aims to make driving safer (HOW?) and once these 100 vehicles have been tested there’ll be no way for a human to take control other than an ’emergency stop’ button. Yes, you read that right. You will literally be putting your faith in the hands of a car, and that isn’t crazy AT ALL.

Google are to remove controls all together because their testing has revealed that humans were ‘unpredictable and potentially dangerous’. This seems way too eerily like Wall-E for us.
