10 of the best HTC One M9 cases: part one
HTC’s new flagship, the HTC One M9, is a seriously impressive phone. If you haven’t checked out our editor Holly’s video review yet, spoiler alert: it features the phrase ‘approaching perfection’. And the M9 doesn’t only work brilliantly and have everything you need in a smartphone, its brushed metal design is beautiful, too. If you invest in one, you’ll obviously want to keep it that way, so here are 10 of our favourite HTC One M9 cases to protect your new favourite gadget, whether you’re looking for something sleek and minimalist, or rugged and tough…
HTC Dot View Case
We’ve already written about how impressive this official case is: it allows you to play games, make calls, watch animations, and listen to music, all from the case itself. Plus, it looks great: the clear plastic back shows off the phone, while the rubberised front mixes modern tech with retro cool. We love it in turquoise, but it’s also available in black, pink, grey, blue, and red.
It’s £29.99 from Mobile Fun.
Etched Floral Faux Leather Wallet Case
If you don’t want to keep rummaging around in your bag for your phone, cards, and money – or if you’d like to be able to chuck the bag altogether, this could be the case for you. It has space inside for cards and cash as well as a secure, rubberised holder for your smartphone. You can access the touch screen, side buttons, ports, and camera while it’s in the case, and there’s a detachable wrist strap too.
It’s £20 from Case Hut.
Spigen Slim Armor Case
This metallic-look case is as slender as the name suggests but has Air Cushion Technology built into the corners to provide impact protection, and there’s an etched bezel for a better grip. It comes with a slinky little flip-out stand with two viewing angles for watching videos. Plus, it’s really pretty. It comes in Gun Metal, Metal Slate, or our favourite, Champagne Gold.
Buy it from Spigen for £14.99.
This sleek and yes, glam case safely covers your phone and adds a sparkly sheen thanks to a glitter coated inlay – so it still feels smooth. It’s slim, yes, but it still has a dual-layer of protection against bumps and bangs, with a protective bumper on the off-chance you should drop your phone on its face. Colour-coordinating metal button accents enhance the cool.
It’s $35.99 (around £25) from Case Mate.
Olixar ArmourDillo protective case
The ArmourDillo is rough and rugged, a tough case that gives a great grip for those of us who’ve literally been known to let things slip through our fingers (oops). It promises an impact-resistant exoskeleton and has cut-outs for the main ports, while the power and volume are covered but still functional. And it has a built-in flip-out stand for videos. It’s also available in green, blue, and black, but red’s our fave.
Pick it up for £12.99 from Mobile Fun.
