CES 2015: Sennheiser’s Momentum headphones have had a stylish wireless update

Sennheiser’s just updated its range and now its Momentum headphones (both in-ear and over-ear) are wireless and noise-cancelling. As the company said at CES in Las Vegas, where it unveiled the new models this week, their aim is to provide even better convenience and sound quality.

While they’re only revamping cans they debuted a few years ago rather than making something new and fresh, this is an example of a company making a few tweaks that improve the user experience rather than developing something new for the sake of it.

As well as being wireless and coming with active noise cancellation for the first time, the new models have Bluetooth, making it easier to stream music, and come with NFC, so it’s simple to pair them with your devices. Plus the over-ear model now conveniently folds up.

They come in black or ivory, plus a brown version optimised for iOS devices, all with a volume control on the cable. No price details have been released yet, but they should be available from the end of this month.
