The BlackBerry Classic is now available for pre-order

BlackBerry hasn’t really done that well in recent years. Traditionalists were put off by the switch from keyboards to touchscreens with the BlackBerry Z10, and the same phone wasn’t enough to convert iPhone and Android users. The traditionalists now have an excuse to ditch their BlackBerry Bolds though, because the BlackBerry Classic is now available for pre-order.

The Classic is currently available from the BlackBerry store, costs £349, and is expected to be released on 17th December. The phone brings back some of the key features that some BlackBerry users have said they miss, including the full QWERTY keyboard, trackpad, and function keys.

The phone also comes with a 3.46 touchscreen display, the ability to install both Android and BlackBerry apps, 16GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM, microSD expansion, and 8MP camera, a 2,525 mAh battery, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and 4G.

BlackBerry said, “BlackBerry Classic is built for you, our customers. BlackBerry Classic is built for serious communicators, for those who need to be productive, to be busy and to get things done.”

So if you haven’t switched over to something else just yet, or if you’d like to return to the good old fashioned keyboard on your phone, then the you can pre-order the BlackBerry Classic here.
