Amazon Prime now gives you unlimited cloud storage for photos

Amazon Prime is possibly one of the best deals out there, £80 a year for free next day delivery, as well as unlimited access to Prime Instant Video and Prime Music. It’s now much better because, effective immediately, Prime members will get unlimited free cloud storage for their photos.

Prime Photos is being described as a secure, simple destination for your photo library, and once your photos are uploaded you can view them across a variety of devices including iOS, Android, Fire TV, and through the web.

Before today only Fire Phone owners had that privilege, but the Fire Phone hasn’t sold particularly well which may have had some part in Amazon’s decision to make it universal. Any Prime users who already use Amazon’s photo storage will also find that any existing uploaded photos will not count towards any limits.

So first Microsoft offer free unlimited OneDrive storage, and now Amazon offer free unlimited photo storage, it sure is a great time for cloud back-ups.
