Sky has revamped the classic test card (the one with the little girl and the clown), replacing it with the first ever 3D version in order to help viewers get the best from their viewing experience.

Zoe Ball presents the new version of the test card along with a character called Mr 3D (how inventive Sky), who takes viewers through a series of steps in order to show them how to set up a 3D TV and ensure the picture looks its best. The pair demonstrate how to set your aspect ratio and the contrast and colours of the picture, as well as how to position your TV, set the lighting and get the right sound settings sorted too.

The 3D Test Card will air at 24.45 and repeat daily from 1st December on Sky 3D, which is channel 528, so if you’re a Sky 3D viewer it might be worth checking it out if you have a spare minute to ensure everything’s working properly.
