I don’t know about you, but I usually go to Superdrug to add to my colossal collection of make up, not to buy a phone. In fact, the closest I’ve come to buying any form of technology there is probably heated eyelash curlers.
However, phone manufacturer Alcatel have designed a phone that will be exclusively available from the cosmetics store. The OTS211 Candybar handset’s colourway is coordinated with the Superdrugs’ signature white and pink and will be priced at only £14.99 on Virgin PAYG. Weighing in at 69g and just 12mm thick, it features a tiny 1.5 inch colour screen, 400 hours of battery life and a radio; you’re definitely getting what you pay for here. But if you’re looking for a no-frills budget handset, then pick it up next time you pop in to buy mascara.
