When rumours of an Acer smartphone were leaked onto the intertubes, it was met by a substantial amount of enthusiasm. However, there weren’t any fireworks for its release – there wasn’t even a fanfare. Acer quietly slipped it onto the market and since then there’s been a few more additions to the Acer smartphone family.
Dan went down to a recent Acer event to get a sneak peek at it’s newest touchscreen M900 smartphone. Following in typical smartphone tradition, it features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and runs Windows Mobile 6.1. His only bugbear (which is a recurring issue for us in Shiny Towers) – is the lack of a 3.5mm jack. Other than that he says it’s an “interesting prospect”. But that’s Dan’s personal judgment – check out the video and see for yourself.
