Chromecast owners can celebrate Valentines Day with free stuff from Google

Valentines Day is nearly upon us, and that means everyone is pulling out their best deals to try and get people into the spirit of things. Google is no exception, and is offering Chromecast owners a bunch of free stuff to celebrate the day.

If you have a Chromecast all you have to do is make sure it’s switched on and discoverable, before heading over to the Chromecast offers page, selecting your device and claiming your free stuff.

Apparently it’s varied from person to person, but you can expect to be able to redeem codes for £5 Google Play credit, a digital copy of the first X-Men film, three months of Now TV’s entertainment package, and 90 days of Google Play Music All Access.

Now you have no excuse for not putting together a special Valentines playlist and spending the day watching multiple romcoms. Because we all know X-Men is the most romantic comedy of them all right?

If you don’t have a Chromecast then, sadly, you’re not eligible for any of these offers. You can get one for £30 from Amazon, though, and since the Google Play Music and Now TV offers are worth £36 on their own it would be rather a good deal.
