How many views? Vine adds a loop counter

Ever wondered how many people have watched your six second re-make of The Empire Strikes Back? Well now you can find out, for the Twitter owned video platform Vine has added a view counter.

According to Twitter you will now be able to see loop counts on Vines in iOS and Android mobile apps and on the web. You’ll even get a quick update when your Vines reach milestones (e.g., 25 or 100 likes).

The feature has been incorporated into a revamp of the Vine’s mobile apps which also adds larger edge-to-edge videos and what Twitter promises is a cleaner view of likes and comments.
