The battle of the smartphones rages on, but Samsung have just illustrated a Terminator like blow to the likes of the Pre and the N97 with the launch of their Jet phone, which contains the fastest processor on the block.
The processor clocks in at 800MHz, making it incredibly speedy, so switching between features and web browsing should now executed with a Superman-esque style finger frenzy.
You’re also getting an ultra bright 3.1 inch AMOLED screen fitted with the TouchWiz interface 2.0, which provides us with all the widgets we know and love in an updated and more efficient design.
As for web browsing, well they’ve equipped the Jet with Samsung’s Dolfin browser, which lets you view up to five pages at any one time and has a built in ad blocker (yay) and one finger zoom. The phone is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera that includes face detection, smile shot, blink mode and a dual LED flash, and also works with the phones GPS to let you geo-tag images.
The handset plays a wide variety of files, meaning you can easily use most file formats, including MPEG4, DivX and XVid. The Jet comes with an external memory card of 2GB and is expandable up to 16GB.
