Samsung toughs it out with the B2700 shock proof mobile

Despite what people think, mobiles are delicate creatures. They need to be caressed, cosseted, and handled with care, and random drunk evenings flushing them down the toilet simply aren’t good enough. Well Samsung have decided they want to help us preserve our mobiles, and have released the B2700, a ruggedized candybar phone which they claim is seriously shock proof.

That remains to be seen however,as our previous experience with the incredibly expensive JCB phone, proved that’s not always the case.

On the plus side, this phone is free on contract, so you won’t be hugely out of pocket and comes equipped with an internal torch, compass and pedometer as well as bundling in a 2 Megapixel camera and 3G connectivity.

It’s certainly not stylish but as long as it’s capable of coping with the treacherous nature of a handbag full of junk, it should have a place in the market.
