There are so many different wearable devices on the market at the moment that it can be really hard to keep track of which gadget does what and how well it performs.
Here at ShinyShiny we’ve been reviewing some of our favourite activity tracking gadgets and have plenty more to come over the next few weeks.
While we review each fitness track of the moment, we decided it’d be handy for our readers for us to pit each device against each other in a series of video battles, so when it comes to forking out the cash for a wearable you know you’re making the right decision.
Watch the video above for our thoughts on the way the devices look, how they feel, how well they track our activity throughout the day and night and if their apps are up to scratch.
WINNER: The Jawbone Up24.
It was a close call, with both wearables out-performing each other in each section and tying when it came to the total points in each category. The Jawbone device ended up on top because its app experience is better and the data it collects is presented in a much more user-friendly way.
Although other gadgets (including the Misfit Shine) may look more appealing, at the end of the day the information these wearables collect for us is what matters. And, when it comes to tracking, monitoring progress and making long-lasting improvements, Jawbone has the collection and visualisation of its data nailed.
