You can now customise your Moto 360 smartwatch to suit you

Motorola’s Moto Maker online customising service has been around for a while where phones are concerned, but the Lenovo-owned company has just introduced it for their Moto 360 watch, too. That means you can build your own smartwatch, choosing from 3 case finishes, 9 bands and 11 different watch faces (that’s 297 different combinations) to make it really you.

The first generation of smartwatches has been fairly rubbish for women, so we’re happy to see new options for personalisation. The Moto 360 case is still massive, and looks quite comical on my pigeon wrists, but the option to change straps and finishes makes it that much more appealing to women who – in short – don’t want to look like they’re wearing a dude’s watch. (Though if you do, that’s cool too).

Motorola have put together some combinations they think work well, including these more female-friendly options:

The Golden Goddess
Case: Light Gold
Watch band: Cognac leather

On-the-Go Stylist
Case: Light Finish
Watch band: Gold 23mm

The Modernist
Case: Light Gold
Watch band: Slim Gold 18mm

Prices for a custom Moto 360 smartwatch start at £199, although they get closer to £300 if you’re looking at the metal and gold options (it’s £30 for a metal band and £50 for light gold housing).

Have a go at customising your own Moto 360 here – but be warned, it’s addictive.
