Samsung has announced Galaxy Unpacked 2015 for next month

There’s been a lot of rumour and speculation about the Samsung Galaxy S6, but so far we’ve heard nothing from Samsung itself. That might have just changed, because Samsung has just sent out invitations to this year’s Galaxy Unpacked.

The invitation doesn’t give much away, not even the date the event will take place. It is assumed that it, like other years, will take place around the 1st March, and that it will be the official reveal of the Galaxy S6.

Interestingly the invite does include a curved metallic line, which could be a hint that there will be some sort of curved display on show at Galaxy Unpacked. It’s long been rumoured that there will be a curved variant of the Galaxy S6, similar to the Galaxy Note Edge, so could this be Samsung hinting?

We don’t know for sure, so we’ll just have to wait until the event and MWC to find out what Samsung has planned for us this year.

Thankfully Samsung is, according to Digital Spy, planning on streaming it on YouTube, so we can all watch everything as it unfolds.
