Two versions of the Galaxy S6 could be launched at MWC

The fact that there was no new information about the Samsung Galaxy S6 at CES was a little bit disappointing, but according to a new rumour we’ll be seeing two different variants of the phone at Mobile World Congress in March.

According to Business Insider, an insider source claims there will be two different versions of the phone: a regular edition with a metal chassis and a variant with a Galaxy Note Edge-style curved screen. It’s currently not clear whether it will be a full-metal body like the Galaxy A-Series, or a a mix of metal and plastic like Galaxy Alpha.

The source also claims that Samsung is working on a round smartwatch to try and compete with the likes of the Moto 360 and the LG G Watch R. That seemingly corroborates the rumour we originally heard at the end of last week.

These are still rumours for now, so don’t take them too seriously — especially given that there have been a few rumours and leaks indicating that there might not be a curved Galaxy S6. Mobile World Congress will take place in from 2nd-5th of March, so we’ll have to wait until then to find out what’s actually going on.
