CES 2015: Misfit and Swarovski team up to create activity tracking jewellery

We do love a wearable and fashion team-up here at ShinyShiny, and this one could be our favourite of the lot. Today, at CES 2015, Misfit and Swarovski unveiled the Swarovski Shine Collection.

The Shine Collection offers a health tracking spin on Swarovski’s existing bracelet and pendant designs, and, in addition to running over six months on a watch battery, there’s also a violet Swarovski Shine model with integrated solar charging (admittedly, not great for us Brits).

As the first activity tracker to pair up with a jewellery company, this could be an amazing taste of things to come for the fashion and wearable world.

You can pre-order the Swarovski Shine Collection, currently sold in three sets, each with a tracker and two accessories, from the Misfit website for $169.99 to $249.99. The range will also be available in Swarovski stores this spring.
