New leaks ‘confirm’ specs for the HTC Hima

We’ve heard a bit about the HTC Hima before, and the word in the rumour mill is that it will be the successor to the HTC One M8 and HTC’s next flagship device. We’ve heard leaked specs, and now a new leak corroborates most of what we’ve heard so far.

According to Upleaks the phone will come with a 5-inch full HD display, an octa-core processor (Quad-core 2GHz, and quad-core 1.5GHz), 3GB of RAM, a 20.7MP rear camera, a 13MP or 4MP Ultrapixel front facing camera, and a 2,840 mAh battery. Apparently it’ll all be running on Android Lollipop and HTC Sense 7.

You may have realised that there is an awful lot of conflicting information out there about the phone’s screen size. Upleaks says 5-inch, a previous leak has said 5.5-inch, and a glimpse of what is meant to be the phone’s front panel indicates that it’ll be 5.2-inches. That’s the problem with rumours, there’s so much information out there and we have no idea what’s what.

It’ all speculative at the moment, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement. Previous rumours claimed the phone will be unveiled at MWC in March. Upleaks claims the phone will be launched in March, but doesn’t say where.
