New details emerge about the Samsung Galaxy S6

The Samsung Galaxy S5 might have been a disappointment in terms of sales, but we all knew that Samsung wasn’t going to be giving up that easily and now Sammobile has a few snippets about what their next phone might have to offer.

First up, the report confirms what we probably already knew: that the phone itself will be known as the Galaxy S6. All that really means is Samsung is sticking to its guns and not coming out with a brand new name for its flagship brand.

Secondly, it seems that the Galaxy Note Edge has been popular enough to warrant an Edge variant for the Galaxy S6. Inventively named the Galaxy S6 Edge, the phone will be a variant that comes with a curved display for notifications and such like. There are no real details, but Sammobile notes that since curved displays are still relatively new, the S6 Edge will likely be another limited edition concept.

Rumour has it the phone will come with a a QHD display, a 64-bit octa-core processor, a 16/20 megapixel camera, and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. Everything else is still a bit up in the air, but we’ll let you know when we have more.
