A bit more about the way we work the quiz

The iPhone 6 only has a 4.7-inch screen, whereas the Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7-inch screen

The Note 4 has a QHD resolution display and a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi). The iPhone 7 has a 720p display with a pixel density of 326ppi

The iPhone 6 had a thickness of 6.9mm, whereas the Note 4 is slightly larger at 8.5mm

The Note 4 is capable is shooting video with a 2160p resolution at 30fps, and 1080p at 60fps. The iPhone 6 cannot go as high, but it can shoot 1080p video at 60fps, and 720p at 240fps.

The Note 4 has a 3.7MP front-facing camera that records 1080p video at 30fps. The iPhone 6’s front-facing camera is only 1.2MP and records 720p video at 30fps.

The Galaxy Note 4 has roughly 14 hours of video playback (one of the most power-hungry features on a phone), Apple revealed that the iPhone 6 will only last around 12.

The iPhone 6’s camera may only have a resolution of 8MP, but the inclusion of Optical Image Stabilisation, a 1.5µm pixel size, and ⅓” sensor size means it takes some of the best photos of any camera phone around. Excluding the Lumia 102.

The Note 4 has 32GB of internal storage, but can be expanded with a microSD card to a grand total of 128GB. The iPhone 6 does not have microSD expansion, but is available with 16, 64, or 128GB of storage.

Because Apple uses it’s own iOS operating system on all iPhones, it is the company responsible for creating and releasing software updates, meaning everyone gets them at the same time. The Note 4, on the other hand, uses Samsung’s modified version of Google’s Android. Android updates regularly, but it is down to the individual phone companies to adapt those updates for the handsets they released that do not run the vanilla version of the OS.
