HTC and Samsung have revealed their Android Lollipop release plans

Android Lollipop is finally upon us, and those of you who don’t own a device running stock Android will no doubt be wondering if and when you’ll be getting the latest version of Android software. Well HTC and Samsung have both revealed which of their phones will be getting the update, and when it’ll happen.

HTC has revealed that the HTC One M7 and One M8 will both be getting updates, and now that it’s received the update codes from Google the update will be available to users within the next 90 days.

As previously reported, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 will get the Lollipop update next month, but according to SamMobile the Galaxy S4 will also be getting the update, and it’s likely that the Galaxy Note 3 will be getting it as well.

If you’re an owner of any of the companies’ other phones then you’re out of luck, you probably won’t bet getting Lollipop unless you go fiddling with your phone’s existing operating system.
