The Nexus 6 may be here by the end of the month

There have been an awful lot of leaks regarding the Nexus 6 recently, so many in fact that it looks more and more likely that the phone is going to be announced very soon. Apparently we will be seeing it by the end of the month.

The rumour comes from the Wall Street Journal, which claims that the Nexus 6 will indeed be a phablet and it’ll launch before the end of the month alongside the newest version of Android (Android L).

The paper’s anonymous sources also corroborates the rumours that the Nexus 6 is indeed Motorola’s Shamu phablet which will supposedly come with a 5.9-inch screen and a high resolution display. Obviously Google has declined to comment on the rumours.

While it’s far from confirmation of what we’ve heard so far, it’s nice that mainstream publications are picking these bits of info up from sources — regardless of how accurate that information is. In any case, the fact that the rumour mill is going haywire over the new phone means we probably don’t have very long to find out what’s true and what’s not.
