The Moto 360 is getting a battery boost

When journalists and reviewers started getting their hands on the Moto 360 a lot of people were worried about the limited scope of the device’s battery life. While it wasn’t as bad as people had feared some people still weren’t happy. As luck would have it Motorola listened to people’s worries, and are boosting the Moto 360’s battery life.

The watch doesn’t have a brand new battery though, this boost comes from a software update and according to Droid-Life it seems to have boosted the life of the Moto 360’s battery life quite considerably.

During testing they found that the Moto 360 lasted 13 hours of heavy use before warning of impending battery death. They admitted that they were really trying to put the phone through its paces to see how it fared.

Previously the Moto 360’s battery life was roughly 11-12 hours in ambient mode, now that’s been increased to 13-15 hours. It’s not much, but it’s certainly a welcome boost.
