Apple Watch will be available in early 2015, will cost $349 (£218). No UK price yet

There’s been no definite international pricing just yet, but Apple did announce that the Apple Watch will be priced at $349 when it goes on sale early next year. This is a pretty steep price, and nearly $100 more than any comparable smartwatch currently available.

Directly converted that amounts to £218, but considering we have to take taxes and ‘localisation costs’ into account we can’t expect it to be so low. If I were to guess, I would say that the Apple Watch will likely cost somewhere between £250 and £300 when it goes on sale in the UK.
