Apple has released iOS 8.0.2

You can’t fault Apple for its efficiency. A day after the company pulled the iOS 8.0.1 update from iTunes and revealing that iOS 8.0.2 would be released as soon as it’s ready to fix the problems, the company has released iOS 8.0.2. That’s pretty speedy work.

The list of fixes are exactly the same as those found in iOS 8.0.1, but presumably without the bugs that killed off the iPhone 6’s network service. Those fixes included ensuring HealthKit works the way it should, and fixing issues with third party keyboards.

That’s good news for those of you who haven’t downgraded from iOS 8.0.1 yet, and hopefully the new patch doesn’t come with any unwanted side effects.

To download the update just make sure you’re connected to a wi-fi network and go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. Alternatively you can do it via iTunes by plugging your phone into your PC.
