Got £150,000 going spare? You still couldn’t afford this loom band dress

So, you’ve heard of loom bands right? Don’t worry, we hadn’t either, but apparently they’re big. So big in fact that a dress made of them is currently being bid on at £156,100 on eBay!

The dress, which is made to fit girls aged between four and six, appears to have been weaved from hundreds of the colourful rubber loops by hand, and there have been 128 bids so far, with still more than four days left for the price to go up!

Loom bands are small, multi-coloured pieces of elastic that can be created into rings, bracelets and necklaces with the help of a loom and a hook and have become the best selling toy of all time, with all 20 of the best-selling toys on Amazon UK being either looms or loom-related. Crazy, huh?

User, helenwright72 gives very little information about the creation of the dress, describing it simply as a ‘multi coloured dress made from loom bands’, and an estimated size 4/6 (so you have to be miniscule to wear it, sorry).

If you fancy buying this rather pricey one-of-a-kind dress, there’s still time to bid on it here.
