A Pen for iPad: Wacom's Stylus

We’ve seen keyboards for iPad before, but now we’ve got a pen.

Coming out in May, the Wacom Stylus for iPad uses Wacom’s experience in making digitised pens for the design industry. You can just use your fingers of course, but if you want a stylus for handwriting, for precision drawing or just because you’ve got big fingers and find clicking on stuff to be annoying.. then this should be a nice product.

We’ve tried out the Wacom tablets before – which let you handwrite into computers by writing on the pad rather than having to use the keyboard. It’s a lovely experience though still quite a niche product – for people suffering RSI or those want to do fine pen-work designs that need something more advanced than mouse. Toy Story 3 for example was created with Wacom tablets as designers and illustrators sketched in the scenes using the tablets.
