The Twitter march: a nice way to kill time and visualise twitter

If you like to pass time idly staring at your Twitter page, you can kill even more time by watching a cute pictorialisation of your Twitter page.

Twitter Parade (isparade.jp) is a sweet Japanese website that takes your account, pictorialises you and your followers and displays them as a troop of merry stick men with the heads of your friends *literally* following you across a page. It’s charming to see lots of people following you and the site plays a merry tune as they trot along so it makes it more fun.

You can organise the parade around a hashtag too.

Is it useful? Not really. It does remind you who your Twitter friends are and their statuses pop up.. so in a way it’s like a looking at a very slow version of Tweetdeck.

Go on, you know you want to: http://isparade.jp/
Don’t say we don’t tell you about the fun stuff.

  • It appears that you need a minimum number of followers to make it work. I can’t be sure, because it’s in Japanese and google & babelfish can’t translate the page.
