Wagamama's app: order from your iPhone

Finally someone is bringing a convenient way of ordering chicken itame to the iPhone. Wagamama’s – the UK restaurant chain – are now letting you place orders over an iPhone app. Download the Wagamama’s app for free, use the GPS to find your nearest restaurant, then browse the menu, order some tiger prawns and stroll down to the nearest one to pick them up. You can set the pick-up time too.

You can’t book a table or anything so it’s a takeaway service. Of course this is fairly similar to ordering a take-away by speaking over the phone, but it has the app factor and in that it lets you see the menu, review your order.

Those with other handsets can use the wagamama’s online take-out site, wagamamatakeout.com, which has just been relaunched. Though we hope that Wagamama’s will be coming to other app stores soon.

You can also save favourite and recent orders making it all a bit easier to do. It has positive reviews on iTunes, though one user wants the ability to customise orders, itstheRuss wants his ginger chicken udon without beansprouts please.
