Shiny Video: Sugru – all purpose hacking goo

Jane from Sugru came down, brought some goo, some stuff she’d goo-hacked and told us about how she invented this all-purpose fixit silicon gel. We wrote a little story on Sugru last week, outlining the basics, but this gives a little more background on the goo.

Sugru has taken off with a bang, the company sold all the 1000 packets they’d planned to shift in their first month on a single day, just before the product launch on 1st December.

They’ve taken 2000 pre-orders for their next batch already and are moving into bigger premises and by February hope to be able to cope with requests on demand.
