In today’s web savvy world, nothing makes a CV stand out more than use of the terms graphic design, Quark Express, and if you can throw a little java, flash and PHP knowledge into the mix as well, it’s even better. It’s not always easy to make a name for yourself however, so Intel have teamed up with Future to create the Digital Artist awards, to celebrate the work of artists on the scene.

There are thirteen categories available to enter, with five awards honouring the talent of under 25’s and categories include character design, 3D illustration and visual effects.

The competition runs from the 2nd April to the 31st August and will run in conjunction with digital master classes held in various cities nationwide.

I think it’s great that digital talent is being recognized and look forward to seeing their work the entrants will produce. If only I was better at vectors I might enter myself!
