Take a laser, an Eee PC and a Mario lover and what do you get?

Is turning the cover of your PC into a Super Mario shrine what you’d call dedication? No, let me rephrase that… is employing dangerous lasers (that could take out parts of your body at any time) to emboss the Gameboy version of Super Mario Land onto your laptop, really what you’d call dedication? I think a more apt description would be extreme or fanatical devotion/borderline dementia. Perhaps the cerazy sculptor is still cut up about that back burner where the Gameboy now resides? I don’t know?

I’ve got to admit, the end result is rather cool, adding a certain uniqueness that virtually no one else will never ever be able to duplicate – unless you follow his step-by-step instructions to recreate the hazardous design here. But would you risk laser-related injuries all for the sake of showcasing a little a lot of Mario love? I don’t know about you but my answer is definitely not. Playing with lasers should only be used for Bond scene re-enactments of “Do you expect me to talk? No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die” style role play.

Some peoples’ love for the Itallian plumber only stretches as far as keeping a few retro/old skool games or buying a few novelty items. This man went way way waaaay out of the box. Put it this way. If Mario wasn’t from the land of fiction, this guy would be a stalking him. Now that’s what you call dedication.
