Siemens' Life hearing aids bring fashion to your ears

There really doesn’t seem to be a reason to make hearing aids beige, unless you’re bald. If you’re into camouflage, it makes more sense to blend it with the colour of your hair, which is exactly what Siemens are aiming to do with the latest ‘Life’ range of hearing aids.

But if you’re the kind of person who insisted as a child on post box red or cobalt blue for your broken arm cast, they’ve got something for you too. The range will also be available in a range of bright colours for co-ordinations with outfits, or just to make a statement.

They also work with the recently launched ‘Tek’ which allows those with hearing aids to connect with MP3 players, phones and TVs.

  • It’s the bright colours that seem to be all the rage in hearing aids at the moment – not so many people are going for camouflage. And, to be honest, the open-fit models (the ones you are showing in your pic) are so small that are mostly covered by the top of your ear anyway.

The big-name sellers are branding their aids as being cool pieces of technology rather than “something that old people wear”.

    Cheers,
    Steve.
