World's smallest digital camera

These days we aren’t prepared to look at an digital camera that isn’t handbag-friendly. However we think Sony might have gone a bit to far though with its Qualia 016. It is so tiny you could almost mistake it for a stick of lippy.

It is not only the smallest, at around $4000 in the US where it has just gone on sale it is probably the dearest too.

It does however take reasonably good two mega pixel images and has a 4x digital zoom for capturing close-ups.

The camera is also accompanied by a range of accessories, however the bad news is that these, including a snap-On flash, are almost the same size as the camera itself.

The Qualia is available for $3,980.00. from here. No news yet on a UK launch
