The fab Huggy Ragnarsson, judge on Britain's Next Top Model and acclaimed celebrity photographer sat down with us for a brief chat. She gave us her opinion on the best camera lenses to use, what celebrities are really like, and how to look your best in pics. All this and she's the new face of Duracell? Phew! Madonna has always been known for her forward thinking lyrics, saucy style and willingness to keep ahead of the times (how else does a 50 year old woman have a better body than me?) so it's no surprise she welcomes the use of LED lights in her stage costumes.

What does surprise me though is just how well it works! I can't believe I missed seeing these pics of her 2006 Confessions tour first time round! The cape glitters and twinkles in time with the music, to a really dramatic effect - it really works with the song as well, and is a great combination of technology and style.

technophobia.jpg

Celebrities have got the money and the power to lay their superstar hands on whatever gadget their little hearts desire. Not that it will do much good, as a huge handful of them are self confessed technophobes.

Let's name and shame. Harry Potter's Emma Thompson says her favourite piece of technology is her fountain pen! So she won't be the best person to ask to reboot your laptop then? Vince Vaugn told MTV he doesn't own a mobile phone, rather, he relies on the buddy system, which is basically borrowing a mate's phone when needed. Tyra Banks' reason for getting rid of her mobile is laughable. She claims her Blackberry caused her physical pain - yea ok, because Blackberry's are heavy?

Courtney_cox.jpgSome would consider strapping gadgets onto belts to be a *major* fashion faux pas. Some would even say wearing your gadgets on your hip is right up there with the unfashionable bum bag or fanny pack (ugh!!). This celebrity clearly doesn't think there's anything wrong with it.

Can you guess who thinks it's ok to wear their Blackberry on their belt?

We've all been guilty of a Facebook faux pas, be it changing your single status or getting hot under the collar by your ex's stalker application. Thankfully most of us have now realised quite how overwhelming it is having people you don't know allowed to see your private contact info (thank you credit card fraud) and have upped security settings.

Not so one Ashley-Paul Robinson, a football player for Crystal Palace. He managed to update 2.7 million people in the London network of the fact he was going for an trial with Fulham, unbeknownst to his management.

Not much of a clue with this one, so I've left Jeremy Clarkson in the picture to give you an idea of the calibre of guests. My other clues include the fact that his father was a jazz musician and keyboard salesman (!), he's godfather to Apple Paltrow-Martin (!!) and is best friends with David Schwimmer (!!!) (according to Wikipedia).

George_Clooney1.JPGJust because celebrities are overflowing with cash, it doesn't mean they should treat their Macbook Pro inappropriately. A simple protection case would suffice. But then again, they can afford as many Macbooks as their Apple loving hearts desire, so they can afford to be bit more risky.

Can you guess who the gorgeous Hollywood hottie is carrying around his Macbook Pro without protection?

Can you guess the name of the veteran rock star who absolutely loathes MP3s and launched a scathing attack on the sound quality of music downloads at a screening of his new film in Berlin last night (that's your only clue)?

A famous celeb recently vented his frustration about an elaborate gig cock-up on his blog and then let this rage loose on his Mac Book Air (tut tut tut) - 'I'm typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!!'

Guess the Macbook Air toting celeb

Who could this celeb be? Clearly an Apple fan, she's gone for the spec-light but good looks-heavy Macbook Air.

Maria_accessories.jpgMaria Sharapova sure is getting herself out there. She's designed tennis outfits, has reportedly been involved in the production of her Prince tennis racket, and is now collaborating with Sony Ericsson to launch a range of mobile phone accessories for women.

The Maria Sharapova Design Collection consists of the IDC-31 Courtside Case, IDC-32 Exercise Case, IDC-33 Party Bag (left) and the IDC-34 Travel Wallet, which all includes the Maria Sharapova touch - "Style, fashion and glamour". The Design Collection is apparently inspired by "Maria Sharapova's own global lifestyle, and the latest fashion trends."

Huggy Ragnarsssonn, better known as that judge from Britain's Next Top Model, has joined forces with Duracell to promote a greener outlook on batteries. Not only will she now be the company's spokesperson, she's using her talents as a photographer to help judge a camera competition at Getty Images Gallery. This talented all rounder is speaking out about her love for Duracell, from how she used to try and signal aliens with them as a child (don't ask), to how rechargeables help her in her line of work.

Samantha Thavasa.jpg

It's a pink phone, so I guess that means it must be for the ladies. Samantha Thavasa, the hugely popular Japanese fashion company (who knew?) which has been endorsed by very famous celebrities including Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham and Penelope Cruz, has teamed up with phone manufacturer Docomo, to create this Barbie-esque flip phone.

This weekend I was probably one of the few people who didn't see Harrison Ford's latest epic adventure. There seem to be a lot of bad and positive reviews, so perhaps Ol' Harrison could use a few suggestions on the kit he needs to keep on top form.

Disney_mobile.jpgDisney phones are proving to be very popular at the moment. This is the second time the Disney brand has teamed up with a well known name to produce a less serious handset. Whether you're into Disney channel movies (High School Musical alert) or a fan of the old classics (so basically a kid or simply a big kid at heart) these Disney mobiles will definitely inject the fun factor into your phone.

Whereas the first handset (DM001SH) was immersed in everything Mickey Mouse (content, design, navigation case), this handset (DM002SH) features another Disney favourite - Cinderella.

Who doesn't love Disney? Weather you're 5 or 50 I'm sure we all have a special place in our heart for the people who brought us the likes of Aladdin and Cinderella. Well now you can join in the jolly fun (forgetting for the moment the racist slurs that surround dear old Walt) and immerse yourself in shiny gadgets galore, namely the Disney mobile, resplendent in glittering pink, glossy gold and a sexy silver. You get a clamshell phone decorated with engraved busts of Mickey, a variety of Minnie Mouse wallpapers, and I'm guessing a really, really irritating ring tone.

anna dolly girl.jpg

It seems it's not enough to have phones available in all colours of the rainbow, no, now we must have them to match our favourite celeb/designer of choice. Hence a myriad of neon colours, some rather garish shades of pink, oh and let's not forget the matching accessories that come with the like of Anna Sui, Matsuiri Mitsuoka (big in Japan), Koda Kumi and others, from the eclectic to the simply unknown. (OK, maybe known in the East). It's one way to get kids hooked, as I'm sure all mobiles come with included ringtones and graphics, and a good money maker, as you're hardly going to want a Britney phone when Girls Aloud are in style. There are 29 designs from Fan Fun, and you can see some of the more extreme versions after the jump.

kirstin dunst macbook.jpg

Yes, clearly the film was ages ago, and clearly Kirsten Dunst has been all 'spidery-love interest' since then, but I couldn't resist this photo. In my world, Kirsten Dunst is watching the 'I'm F*cking Matt Damon' video, and wondering aloud whether her and Johnny Borrell would ever reach the heady relationship heights of Sarah Silvermen and Jimmy Kimmel.

More celeb gadgets over here.

carrie.jpgSo, we're just hours away from the World Premiere of the Sex and the City movie. I've heard rumours that there's going to be a Shiny Towers exodus at five thirty on the dot this evening, so that people can go and stargaze down at Leicester Square. But whilst our sister blogs are obsessing over the clothing, here at Shiny Shiny, we're far more interested in what gadgets the girls might be toting. Everyone has an idea of which character they're most like, but do you have the right phone to match?

Carrie: Who could forget the episode where Carrie lost all her writing because her Mac crashed, and no one had let her into the secret of backing up? Despite this, something tells me Carrie will never be seen running Vista.

Phone: The iPhone. It's got the perfect combination of good looks and functionality, with an interface that doesn't require you to be geeky in order to get the most from it.

Also carries: A Macbook Air.
