The LG G Flex 2 is now available in the UK – price, availability and freebie details

Hooray! The phone we tried and loved at Mobile World Congress has gone on sale in the UK earlier than anticipated. You can now get it from Vodafone, EE and O2 if you go via Carphone Warehouse (it’s not showing on EE or O2’s sites at the moment), and get a free LG Circle case and P7 Bluetooth speaker, or get it directly from Vodafone and you’ll get a free LG G Watch R to boot.

The LG G Flex 2 costs from £33 with an upfront cost of £49.99 on O2, or from £36.50 a month from Vodafone. It’s also available SIM-free for £499 from Carphone Warehouse. As with any phone, it’s worth exploring all the networks’ offers to see what works best for you in terms of price, contract length and included data/minutes.

The only colour option at the moment seems to be black, which is a shame given how much we liked the ostentatiously-named ‘Flamenco Red’ version when we tried it out:

The LG G Flex 2 has a 5.5 inch full HD (1080p) curved screen, self-healing back cover, 64-bit octa-core SnapDragon 810 processor, Android Lollipop, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (though it takes microSD up to 128GB, or maybe even 200GB) and a 3000mAh battery.
