Huawei’s monster 7-inch Phablet the MediaPad X2 lands #MWC15

In addition to the rather charming watch it unveiled today, Huawei has also dropped a monster high spec Phablet.

Boasting a huge 7inch screen the Huawei MediaPad X2 is also the company’s first octa-core phablet with a dual-SIM option. That screen sounds pretty impressive too with a 1200 x 1920 resolution IPS display for 323ppi. As much as 80% of the phone is the screen and Huawei claims it will be the slimmest 7-inch screen phoenon sale, but we are guessing it will still be a little too large for most pockets.

The phone is a powered by a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 processor running at 2GHz, its features a 13-megapixel front and 5-megapixel rear (selfie) cameras. The phone will be available in two different versions one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage and a high end version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

There’s no confirmation yet on when it will be available and how much it will sell for.
