The iPad Pro could be thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus

The larger-sized iPad Pro is something that has been rumoured to be on Apple’s plate for quite some time, and despite the fact that it didn’t get announced alongside the iPad Air 2 and Mini 3 the rumours are still coming. This time suggesting the device will be super-thin, and come sporting stereo speakers.

According to Macokatara the device is not going to be 12.9-inches, as originally thought, instead it’ll be 12.2-inches, and will be a mere 6.9mm thick. For those of you who didn’t already know, the iPhone 6 Plus is 7mm thick.

This size apparently means that the device is intended for landscape user, and will come with stereo speakers, one at each side, that will take advantage of that.

If and when this device will launch is currently unclear. It was rumoured to be unveiled and released before the end of the year, but seeing as how we haven’t heard anything from the official channels this is unlikely. It’s possible that we’ll see the iPad Pro sometime next year, but when that is likely to be is unknown.
