The S5 has a choice of 32 or 64GB of internal storage, but can be expanded with a microSD card to a grand total of 128GB. The iPhone 6 does not have microSD expansion, but is available with 16, 64, or 128GB of storage.

The iPhone 6 has a talktime battery life of 14 hours, enough to get you through a basic day, but the S5 has a talktime battery life of 21 hours which might get you through two if you’re careful.

The iPhone 6’s camera may only have a resolution of 8MP, but the inclusion of Optical Image Stabilisation, a 1.5µm pixel size, and ⅓” sensor size means it takes some of the best photos of any camera phone around. Excluding the Lumia 102.

The S5 has an IP67 rating, which means it’s water and dust proof. The phone can survive in one metre of water for up to 30 minutes, and some tests have had it last much longer than that. The iPhone 6 has no such protection.

The S5 is capable is shooting video with a 2160p resolution at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, and 720p at 120fps. The iPhone 6 cannot go as high, but it can shoot 1080p video at 60fps, and 720p at 240fps.

The S5 has a 2MP front-facing camera that records 1080p video at 30fps. The iPhone 6’s front-facing camera is only 1.2MP and records 720p video at 30fps.
