EE is honouring some Phones 4U iPhone 6 pre-orders

Phones 4U is in trouble at the minute, and it turns out that this trouble meant everyone who pre-ordered an iPhone 6 from them wouldn’t be getting one. But a select few are in luck, because EE has promised to honour some of those pre-orders. So if you pre-ordered an EE iPhone 6 or 6 Plus from Phones 4U, you might just be getting one after all.

All you have to do is go to any EE store from tomorrow with your iPhone 6 pre-order confirmation from Phones 4U, and the kindly staff will let you purchase one there and then. You should all be able to get one, since EE has set aside phones for the exact number of pre-orders it received. The only problem is that you may have to choose a different contract option than you originally planned.

That’s awfully good of them, especially since EE severing ties is the main the reason Phones 4U has had to go into administration in the first place.

It’s just a shame that anyone who pre-ordered an iPhone 6 with someone else via Phones 4U will not be so lucky.
