How you can buy the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact

We saw the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact officially unveiled at IFA last week, but Sony was notoriously tight-lipped about when it will be available and how much it will cost. Fortunately, the information is now available thanks to our lovely phone networks and retailers.

Phones 4u

Phones 4u has revealed the most about both devices, revealing that it will be selling the Z3 and the Z3 Compact before the end of the month. It’s also shared some information about contract prices, revealing that the white Xperia Z3 will be available from £38.50 a month on Vodafone 4G, and the Compact will be £30.50 a month. Both are available for pre-order right now.

EE

Other than the fact that both devices will be available on the Networks 4GEE and 4GEE Extra plans, EE has been remarkably quiet. Buying the phone on EE will also nab you Orange Wednesdays tickets, inclusive roaming calls and texts, and discounts on EE’s own fibre broadband service.

Three

Three has confirmed that it will be selling the Z3 and Z3 Compact, but like EE has remained remarkably quiet about the whole situation.

O2

So far we only know that the Z3 will be sold via O2 in silver or black, but have no word on prices, a release date, or even if the Compact will be available. You can sign up for email updates, though.

Vodafone

Vodafone has yet to mention any specific pricing details, but if phones 4u’s prices are anything to go by then the Z3 will for for £38.50 a month, while the COmpact will be £30.50 a month.

Carphone Warehouse

Very little information is available at Carphone Warehouse, but just like O2 you can sign up for email updates.

Amazon

For an off-contract Z3, Amazon is probably your best bet. The retail gaint will be shipping the phones on 29th September and is offering the Z3 in black and copper for £529.95. The Z3 Compact will be available in black and orange for £429.95.

Expansys

If you want a SIM free Z3, you can get the Z3 for £29.99 and the Comapct for £419.99 in a range of colours. There doesn’t appear to be a release date yet, but they’re available for pre-order now.
