Mobile rumours: Lumia 830 pictures, and Galaxy Note 4 specs appear

The world of mobile news is scary and complicated, with rumours flying about all over the place about what the many different companies are planning on doing. If you don’t know what you’re looking for then chances are you won’t get very far, so to ease your burden here are some of today’s biggest mobile rumours.

1. Images of the Nokia Lumia 830 leak

We heard some of the first specs for the Lumia 830 yesterday, and today we get what appear to be the first images of Microsoft’s upcoming flagship. What can we see about the device? Very little actually, but it does appear that Nokia is not planning on shaking up the typical Nokia design anytime soon. [Tieba.Baidu via Phones Review]

2. Specs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 leak

It’s expected to be unveiled at Samsung’s press event in 3rd September, and after a leak revealing what appears to be the Galaxy Note 4 earlier this week more info has appeared showing off what the device’s specs might be thanks to a listing from Indonesian retailer Erafone. Reportedly costing  IDR 9,499,000 (around £481), the device will come with a 5.7-inch 1440 x 2560 resolution display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, a 16MP camera, 4GB of RAM, micro SD expansion, and 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal storage, all running on Android 4.4.3 (KitKat).

Those are some rather impressive specs, especially after the disappointing display in the Galaxy Alpha, plus £481 is cheaper than the Galaxy Note 3 was. [Know Your Mobile]
