This Microsoft smartwatch concept is packed with a circular face, Cortana & plenty of style

Ever since we first clapped our eyes on the beautiful Moto 360 smartwatch from Motorola no other wearable has compared in terms of looks and, vitally, wearability (OK, admittedly this HP collaboration came rather close), which is why we were excited to see this Microsoft concept that hints at a circular-faced, streamlined design for the tech giant’s highly-anticipated new wearable.

Yep, it’s a shame these images are only concepts from designer Nadir Aslam, because as Phone Arena points out, rumours are suggesting Microsoft’s next wearable design will be much more like a Fitbit One/Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit hybrid than a stylish watch.

But take a look at some of the concept story boards below anyway, or browse Aslam’s Behance profile, and swoon over what Microsoft could create one day (even if it’s way after the brand has messed around with bulky, sportier, less-appealing models). We particularly love the fact Cortana is built right into the centre of the dashboard.
