Is this the UK’s cheapest laptop – Ebuyer’s Lenovo B50?

Ebuyer.com is selling what it claims is the cheapest laptop on the market, at £199.98, in the shape of the Lenovo B50.

While eagle-eyed laptop lovers will realise this is the same price as HP’s 255 G1 laptop with Ubuntu, this Lenovo B50 laptop is being offered with £30 cash back until the end of August, bringing the price down to just £169.98.

The specs are fairly modest. It is powered by an Intel Celeron 2815 Dual Core 1.86Ghz processor boast 4GB RAM, 1MB Cache, 320GB Hard Drive a 3.0 USB port and five hours of battery life.

The B50 also features a 15.6″ LED backlit screen, Windows 8.1 with Bing and weighs only 12.5g, is relatively lightweight considering it has a DVD drive.
