iPhone production shifts up a gear

If, like me, you’re due an upgrade on your phone, you’ll probably be waiting to see what Apple brings to the table with its eagerly anticipated iPhone 6 model. Apple is due to launch a 4.7 and 5.5 inch iPhone in September, alongside the iWatch.

Foxconn, Apple’s manufacturing giant is said to have hired 100,000 extra staff to keep up with the large scale production of the phone and Pegatron has hired 10,000 to its mainland factories. Reuters reports that manufacturing will begin early next week on the 4.7 inch iPhone, thus pointing to a September launch for the size and production of the 5.5 inch model.

Of course, this is all speculation from local media in China, but we expect the news is very true and, if so, expect to see more and more rumours in the coming months.
