North Korea doesn’t like James Franco movie about killing Kim Jong-un

Everyone’s favourite Instagram scumbag, James Franco, and funny man Seth Rogen have teamed up for a new movie called The Interview. It looks funny, its new trailer is generating a lot of Twitter chatter this week, but there’s just one problem: it’s all about assassinating Kim Jong-un.

As you can imagine, this particular plot line hasn’t gone down too well amongst North Korean officials. According to the BBC, reports from the state KCNA news agency quote a foreign ministry official as saying, “Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated.”

We’re not exactly sure what that means, but it certainly sounds ominous.

Instead of worrying about the possibility of WWIII started by the comedy duo, watch the trailer above and tell us what you think in the comments below.
